Dear Future Top Gun Freelancer,

The very first interview I had with an agency…

I went down in a ball of flames.

Being offered $1,000 for 25 hours a month…

Is peanuts for what can be made in email marketing…

But here’s the thing…

And I couldn’t even close out the deal.

So why was I willing to give up some much for so little in return?

Because it wasn’t about the money…

Or working against the clock…

Or being undervalued for the work I was capable of.

The truth was...

I wanted out!

I felt stuck for 10 years…

In something I never really wanted to do…

So it brought up all my shit from the past.

And the very reason why I had a mental breakdown when I left Westpac…

I never wanted to work in corporate again.

So I started my sports massage clinic… 

And it’s been nearly 10 ten years. 

Don’t get me wrong…

I have awesome clients.

And I’ve helped a tonne of people recover from some pretty serious injuries.

But my body is really tired…

And it just needs a huge reset.

I’ve been chasing the laptop lifestyle for 3 years now…

And I’ve grown accustomed to failing over and over again.

But I felt like I was so close to breaking through those old patterns and beliefs that have held me back for so long.

It’s just gonna take some time to get over the disappointment…

Cuz I’m not a stranger to it.

But this time round…

I’ve hit a real low point.

And I’m not sure how to get back up.

Because I walked away from that call in a lose-lose situation...

The agency owner still doesn't have a copy writer.

And I don't have a client...

Because at the end of the day...

I know as a copy writer I could help take that business from 6 to 7 figures

So I’m gonna take a couple days to lick my wounds…

I don’t really know what my next move will be :)

But that’s the freelancer lifestyle…

It’s an emotional roller coaster of more downs than ups...

But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

It taught me how to close 6,7 and 8 figure deals...
